Pomolita’s Art classes need donations of your old newspapers and magazines for future art projects! Please bring just your donations to room 502.
 
 
Applications for the Summer Academy at Ukiah High School are due today, May 1st! All 8th graders should have received an electronic application in their email. If you're having trouble with the application process, talk with your counselor
 
Yearbooks are still on sale for $30. They can be purchased in room 101 in the SEM or in the office.  Yearbooks can also be ordered in the cafeteria today during both lunches. The table is set up near the student store. Stop by there to order your yearbook. Supplies are limited.
 
Summer school is open to all 6th and 7th-grade students interested in attending.  Classes are from 8-12 with lunch being served after classes.  We will be having a lot of fun classes, Mesa, computer programming, math projects and ELA.  Please see your counselors if you are interested in being a part of a fun program this summer.
 
Testing continues! Bring your Chromebook, charger, and headphones. Make sure to get a good night's sleep every day and eat breakfast the rest of the week.
 
Attention Native American 8th-grade students. There is a meeting today at lunch, in room 508 regarding this Friday’s field trip to UC Davis. If you are planning on going, you must attend
 
Pomolita will be hosting a track meet this Wednesday, May 2nd at UHS.  The event starts at 4 pm, if we have any teachers who can help run the event, the help will be greatly appreciated.  Please email Mr. Raugewitz or Mr. Gaston if you are available to help.
 
 
We will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo on may 7th. The Spanish Club and the Ballet Folklorico will be having dances, games, food, and drinks for you. Be ready to have fun and enjoy the event.  
 
 
All 8th-grade girls basketball players, there will be a meeting in Room 109 during lunch on Wednesday, May 2nd.
 
All salsa contest teams need to turn in their salsa contest recipes and team posters by WEDNESDAY to room 509 at break.  Any team that fails to do this does not get to participate in the salsa contest.
 
Last week to turn in pictures or bring the money to the office.
